Witnesses are being sought after a man was robbed in Ripon Road, Winton on 3 September at 1am.
The victim, a 22-year-old local man, was walking along the pavement having just left the Richmond Arms public house when he was approached by two unknown men.
The offenders punched him in the face knocking him to the ground, and made off with his mobile phone and a small amount of cash.
Detective Constable Elizabeth Horrex, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said: “The victim has been left extremely shaken by this attack and was fortunate to have only have suffered minor injures.
“This incident happened in a densely populated residential area and I am appealing for witnesses and anyone who may have details about those responsible to call Dorset Police.”
The first offender is described as a white man aged in his mid twenties, around six feet two inches tall and of stocky build. He was wearing a light blue shirt with writing on the chest.
The second man is described as white with short black hair, around five feet ten inches tall, of stocky build, and wearing a black T-shirt with a logo on the left side of the chest.
