The fourth CashUnity prize draw for £1,000 was carried out in Ringwood by the Mayor of Ringwood Cllr Steve Rippon-Swaine in the presence of the MP for New Forest West, the Rt Hon Desmond Swayne, on Friday 9 May. Several participating traders turned out to witness the draw.
Sally Waterman and Tasha Miles from Townhouse, Leesa Agar from Paper Mountain and Margot Smith from Tulip Crafts.
When the Mayor pulled out the winner there were gasps of surprise. She had submitted her entry after shopping at Tulip Crafts!
There were hugs as everyone congratulated Margot Smith who was shaking with delight at the news.
She said, “It’s a huge thing for us that one of our customers has won £1,000 by entering CashUnity. We’re a new business in Ringwood. My husband Steve and I only opened in December and we joined CashUnity to generate interest in our shop.”
Margot was completely overjoyed and couldn’t wait to return to Tulip Crafts and let Steve know the good news.
The winner will be notified shortly.
