Children can try their hand at a variety of activities, many of them with an African theme, at Leigh Park’s Art Week taking place from 19 to 21 August.
Activities include African bark painting, creating a cardboard safari park, African animal model making, African tribal masks, wet felted animal print bracelets and African story telling and drumming. There is also a chance for people to make their own bread.
Some outdoor activities include petanque and rounders with the Activate team and tag rugby with Wimborne Rugby Club’s coach.
The Art Week activities are from 10am to 4pm each day from Tuesday to Thursday and cost just £1 a day.
