Lewis-Manning Hospice, based in Lilliput, Poole, will be opening up its garden to the public for a Vintage Garden Party, including an arts and crafts fair on Saturday 6 September.
Running in the afternoon from 1-4pm, attendees will be able to celebrate the summer in a typically English fashion with a cup of tea and cream scone. Guests are also able to browse amongst the arts and crafts fair with cakes, plants and jewellery stalls all set to be included. The popular annual dog show hosted by the hospice will also make its return at the event; all dogs are welcome to enter the competition.
Hoping for a last day of sunshine before the summer draws to an end, the charity’s garden is located in a highly desirable spot at Evening Hill with a breathtaking view across Poole Harbour. Lewis-Manning has made the picturesque sights that come from its location a popular daily post on their Facebook page called “The View from Lewis-Manning”.
Entry to the party is by donation. For further information, please contact the Fundraising Office on 01202 701000 or email events@lewis-manning.co.uk.
