Bling your ride

Hillside Community First School in Verwood, Dorset celebrated a Bling Your Ride Day on 28 November to raise awareness of being seen in the dark. Over 70 bikes and scooters arrived at school decorated with lights, tinsel, foil, feathers and reflective materials. This event was supported by Darren Orchard from Sustrans, who awarded prizes. He was amazed by the effort everyone had made blinging their rides and travelling on them to school, even though it was raining.
