Following a recent interior re-design, Lewis-Manning Hospice has re-launched its shop in Wimborne with the help of the local community, hosting a special party to say thank you!
Both the mayor of Wimborne and town crier were amongst the guests at the event, which took place at the shop on Eastbrook Row, Crownmead, opposite The Rising Sun pub. Entertainment was provided by DJ Chris Brown, local acapella men’s choir The Gravellers and folk band Swinging the Lead, while mulled wine was donated by The Tap House.
The charity, which offers free palliative care and support for local people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, currently has eight shops across Dorset and they provide a significant income to help people whose lives have changed dramatically because of illness.
