Thanks to International Card & Gifts (ICG), in Ferndown, Dorset’s disability charity, Diverse Abilities Plus, raised almost £1,500 selling Christmas cards designed by pupils at Langside School, the charity’s special school for children with profound disabilities.
The Dorset charity, providing a lifetime of support to children and adults with physical and learning disabilities across the county, thanked ICG for printing 6,000 cards for free. This allowed Diverse Abilities Plus to use the funds raised, through selling the cards, for the imperative services it provides to children, adults and their families in the local area.
Simon Wagstaff, owner of ICG, said: “Diverse Abilities Plus is a fantastic local charity. It was a pleasure to produce the cards for free as it has raised essential funds the charity needs. It makes business a lot more rewarding seeing someone else benefiting from what we do.”
