Now in its 13th year, the Choral Pilgrimage stands as testament to Harry Christophers’ ongoing mission to bring the widest variety of sacred music back to the kind of buildings for which it was written.
Last year the Choral Pilgrimage reached an audiences of over 16,000 people and the project continues to thrive. The tour begins on 2 March in Guildford Cathedral, and will take in a total of 34 concerts around the UK and Ireland. The programme explores the music of three composers, unique in their devotion to the church.
“It is a constant pleasure and a great privilege for us to have the opportunity to perform such exceptional works from our great cultural heritage,” said Harry Christophers.
