Dazzling fire shows and magical music will be entertaining crowds visiting the Quay for Poole’s spectacular free firework display on Saturday November 5 at 8pm.
Organised by Poole Tourism and supported by Poole Quay businesses, the display is the finale of Wave 105’s spectacular Summertime in the South which has seen over 60 special events take place in Poole this year.
Join the free party from 5pm with live music, junior disco and family entertainment with street entertainers, jugglers and fire performances throughout the evening.
There’s live music from Fayrewood Convention courtesy of Mr Kyps and Martin Boucher, with street dance from Passion Dance Company and Bonkers Dance Academy. Prepare for the evening to go with a bang as Poole Field Gun display team will be demonstrating the splitting down and firing of their field gun.
Children can learn new skills with special workshops for the hoola hoop and Jamie Jigsaw’s circus skills or enjoy the bouncy castle, children’s ride along and balloon modelling. The party atmosphere is rounded off with the free traditional fireworks extravaganza over Poole Harbour at 8pm.
Graham Richardson, Poole Tourism Manager, said: Poole’s 5 November fireworks event is an exceptionally popular event with people coming from miles around. Not only is it much safer than trying to have a display at home, you also get to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy live music and entertainment for all the family. And with such a host of pubs, bars and restaurants on the waterfront, turn it into a real night out with a drink or a bite to eat.”
