Durlston Country Park's Easter Chase Fun Run
Dorset Council’s Durlston Country Park will be receiving a visit from the Easter Bunny for their “Easter Chase” fun run
Dorset Council’s Durlston Country Park will be receiving a visit from the Easter Bunny for their “Easter Chase” running event on 12 April.
The event follows the Easter Bunny along a 2.5k trail through the beautiful scenery of Durlston Country park, beginning at 10.00am. The event is open to all ages, with a “Standard Bunny” for younger children and a “Fast Bunny” for more experienced runners. There is a £2 suggested donation for participants, with refreshments provided as well as chocolate eggs if you can catch the Easter Bunny!
Money raised from the event will go towards the Durlston Pleasure Grounds Project, which is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Lottery Players and will enhance Durlston’s Victorian landscape for nature and the community.
Speaking to Durlston Country Park staff, The Easter Bunny said, “I’ve been training hard for this run and I’m in great shape. If you think you’re fast enough to come and take my chocolate eggs, then you’re welcome to try!”
