Appeal after woman bitten by dog in Poole
A woman in her 60s was walking her dog at Sea View viewpoint on Constitution Hill at around 1.30pm on 23 April. As she approached the car park, a dog ran toward her and began barking. It knocked into her dog, causing it to fall to the ground and yelp.
It was reported that as the victim went to pick her pet up the other dog bit her lower arm, causing four puncture wounds.
The owner retrieved his dog and asked if the victim was all right. She replied that she was not as she had just been bitten by his dog. He then walked away without leaving his details.
A paramedic in the area administered first aid before the victim attended hospital to have a tetanus injection. Her dog sustained a split ear in the incident.

The other dog is described as a dark-coloured Staffordshire Bull Terrier or Rottweiler-tyre breed. Its owner is described as a white man, around six feet tall, of a broad build and in his mid to late 30s with short, brown hair, which is shaved at the sides. He had tattooed legs, and was wearing shorts and a T-shirt.
