BCP Council co-ordinates economic recovery
No-one is any doubt that economic recovery over the coming months is going to be a challenge.
However in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole it is hoped that a coalition of local organisations will be able to give appropriate support.
Led by BCP Council, the Economic Recovery Task Force will bring together the voices of key stakeholders in the local business community. The organisations include BIDs and Chambers of Commerce across the region.
Cllr Mark Howell, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Culture at BCP Council, said, “There was a need to develop a coordinated and collaborative response to the current challenges businesses are facing. Working with local community leaders and local business advocates, we are providing support to help businesses reopen safely for both staff and customers.”
