A car, jewellery and cash stolen in West Parley burglary
A Kia Sportage with the number plate FN15 TEV was stolen in addition to cash and jewellery from a property in Christchurch Road.
Police are seeking information following a daytime burglary which took place in West Parley.
Between 8am and 5pm on Wednesday 28 April the rear doors of a property on Christchurch Road were smashed and entry was gained.
The keys to a black Kia Sportage with the number plate FN15 TEV were stolen, along with the vehicle itself, which has a yellow sticker in the rear window with wording similar to ‘princess on board’. Items of jewellery and cash were also stolen.
Neighbourhood Inspector Simon Perry, of North and East Dorset police, said: “Officers have been carrying out searches of the area to try and locate the stolen vehicle, but these have so far proved unsuccessful.
“I am appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area, or captured anything of relevance on home CCTV or dashcam footage, to please get in touch.
“It is possible that the vehicle could now be altered or using false plates. However, I would also be really keen to hear from anyone who has seen a Kia Sportage matching the description given parked up in their area.”
