Cyclist injured in West Parley hit and run
The police would like to identify the vehicle and driver following this collision with a cyclist on Tuesday 18 May.
A vehicle failed to stop when it hit a cyclist on New Road south of the Parley Cross Roads between 6.30am and 7am on Tuesday 18 May.
The cyclist – a man in his 20s from Poole – was taken to hospital for treatment for a dislocated ankle and broken toes.
Police Constable Sam Kinsella, of East Dorset police, said: “An investigation is underway to identify the vehicle involved in this collision. I would urge anyone who was in the area around the relevant time and may have witnessed what happened to please get in touch.
“I am also keen to hear from any motorists who were travelling in the area around the time of the incident and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
