Put forward your views on seafront plans – face to face
If you have an interest in the coast of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole you can speak to someone at three different venues.
After months of online consultations, officers from BCP Council are now providing the opportunity for residents to speak to them face to face.
The authority is setting out a 20-year seafront strategy consultation which runs until 26 September.
People, who live in, work in or visit the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area can put forward their views at three different locations.
Look out for the gazebo at Mudeford Quay near the playground from 4.30-6.30pm on Tuesday 14 September; on the Quay front at Poole from 4.30-6.30pm on Wednesday 15 September and Pier Approach Bournemouth from 4.30-6.30pm on Wednesday 22 September.
Cllr Mohan Iyengar portfolio holder for Tourism, Leisure and Culture said: “ I’ll welcome everyone’s input so that we protect the right things and provide for the future – but let’s also be bold about what could lift and energise our resort in just the right way.”
If you can’t pop along, fill out a short survey or leave an idea on the virtual pin board online until 26 September at www.bcpcouncil.gov.uk/seafrontstrategy.
