Pedestrian injured and dog killed in Poole collision

A man in his 60s from Poole was seriously injured in a collision with a Talbot Motorhome on Sunday 19 September.
Police received a report at 9.06am about the accident on Compton Avenue. The pedestrian was taken to hospital but sadly the West Highland Terrier died at the scene,
Two 21-year-old men from Poole were arrested on suspicion of driving offences and have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Police Constable Mark Palmer, of the traffic unit, said: “We are carrying out a full investigation to establish the circumstances of this collision.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed what happened or may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam to please come forward.”
