A brand new wheelchair accessible Mk III Wheelyboat, specially designed to provide disabled people with hassle-free and independent access to waterborne activities was launched by the Mayor of Wareham, Cllr Keith Green at Wareham Boat Hire yesterday, (10 April).
Supplied through Countryside Mobility South West, the new Wheelyboat will enable disabled adults and children to participate in a wide range of water based activities on the beautiful River Frome. For more details about the Wheelyboat see the web post in the mags4dorset news archive dated 8 April.

cool idea. I can see how this will be a big benefit to those in wheelchairs and the river Frome at Wareham is a very pretty river with lots of wildlife to see in the reed beds. Keep up the good work.
