Cyclist fails to stop in Wimborne after injuring pedestrian in his 90s
The police are hoping the cyclist or witnesses will come forward to explain what happened in Crown Mead near Waitrose.
A man in his 90s sustained injuries which required hospital treatment when he was in a collision with a cyclist in Crown Mead Wimborne at around 3.55pm on Wednesday 20 April.
The cyclist got back onto his bike and left the area without giving their details, leaving the pedestrian with a broken wrist, broken thumb and injuries to his arms.
Police Constable Rhianna Sly, of East Dorset police, said: “I have been carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident, including checking CCTV in the area.
“I am appealing to the cyclist to do the right thing and come forward so we can take your account of what happened.
“I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the vicinity and witnessed the incident.”
