Callous thieves have put lives at risk in the Talbot Village area.

At 8pm on Friday 27 May a group of teenagers are reported to have stolen an orange defibrillator from the car park of St Mark’s C E. Primary School in Talbot Rise.

Police Constable Georgia Kemp, of Bournemouth police, said: “Not only did this defibrillator cost over £900, but it has been bought and placed in a community car park so it can be used to save people’s lives.

“This theft was utterly unnecessary and reckless, and I would like to reassure the community that a full investigation is underway.

“I would urge anyone with information as to who was responsible to please contact Dorset Police.”
