Remembrance in Wimborne
The people of Wimborne gathered around the Minster Green today to pay their respects to those who have died in conflicts since the 1st World War.

Hundreds of people including police officers, the fire service and veterans gathered around the Minster Green today to mark Remembrance Day 11 November.
A short service was conducted by the rector of Wimborne Minster, the Rev Canon Andrew Rowland and the Exhortation and the Kohima were delivered by Mike Young RBL Wimborne branch president.
The Remembrance parade takes place on Sunday starting from the Royal British Legion and processing through the town to the service in the Minster at 3pm. Those attending should be seated by 2,45pm.
