Woman assaulted in Ashley Heath
Mystery surrounds an assault that police believe took place on Hurn Road and so they are seeking more information.
Dorset Police know very little about an assault they believe took place in Ashley Heath at around 12.45am on Saturday 5 November, so they are seeking information from the public.
It was reported that a woman was assaulted by a man on Hurn Road, after which the man left the scene in a small hatchback car, possibly a Ford Fiesta.
It is believed the female victim may have returned to the scene at around 2pm later on the same day.
Police Constable Mark Rice, of East Dorset police, said: “At this time, we have limited information in relation to this incident and would ask any witnesses or anyone with relevant footage to please come forward.
“We would also urge those involved to please come forward so we can establish what happened and ensure everyone is all right.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk/contact or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55220180176. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
