Care home hosts fashion show in support of Children in Need
A ‘Through the Ages’ fashion show held at Care South’s Castle Dene Care Home was featured on BBC South Today.
Residents from Care South’s Castle Dene care home in Bournemouth held a ‘Through the Ages’ fashion show to raise funds for Children in Need with the event being featured on BBC South Today.
The show featured an array of outfits spanning from the glamorous 1920s to the chic styles of the 2020s, offering a fascinating journey through the evolution of fashion.
Castle Dene has one resident, Neva, who will turn 100 years old in December
Lana Wright, home manager at Castle Dene, said: “The ‘Through the Ages’ fashion show was an enchanting day that not only celebrated the rich tapestry of fashion across the years but also supported a vital cause, Children in Need. We were thrilled to welcome Care South at Home to join in the fun.”
Judith a resident at Castle Dene said: “Personally, I loved every moment of the fashion show, revealing in the diversity of styles and seeing how fashion has evolved over the years.”
