Hourly care service expands into Bournemouth region
Promedica24 has announced the expansion of its hourly care service on the South Coast, offering person-centred support to more families.
With a new office based in Christchurch, Promedica24 will provide much needed flexible care options to local communities in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area.
The new branch will be led by registered manager at Promedica24, Gillian Louggar, and will allow local care seekers to schedule carer visits around their daily routines and activities to receive extra help when it is most needed.
The expansion comes as Promedica24 is celebrating 10 years of operating in the UK, during which time it has supported more than 1,700 families to live as independently as possible in the comfort of their own homes.
Promedica24 also regularly undertakes charity initiatives in the local areas in which it operates, a legacy which Gillian and the team in Christchurch will continue. Recent initiatives include Promedica24 West Sussex’s support of The Glamour Club, a series of events in Worthing, which aim to tackle social isolation.
“We are delighted to be able to reach more people and respond to increasingly varied care needs. We are confident that our bespoke hourly care packages are a valuable and much needed option for families looking to help their loved ones in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole,” said Gillian Louggar. “As a CQC-registered care specialist, Promedica24 is providing a viable alternative to residential care for those looking to preserve their independence and remain in the comfort of their own homes. Home care can be the perfect option for those who want to stay close to their community, keep their pets, and continue their daily routines, and we’re looking forward to this new chapter in Bournemouth.”
Lorraine Marshall, care manager at Promedica24, said: “We are thrilled to be expanding our service offering into the Bournemouth region – I love working in my local community, and I am looking forward to forging new relationships with the people who will be supported by Promedica24’s new hourly care service.
“Hourly care goes beyond practical assistance with daily tasks – it creates a genuine companionship that enhances the overall quality of life and allows people to remain in their own homes, making their own choices. I am really proud of the work of all of our carers, and I am looking forward to welcoming new people to Promedica24’s services.”
