Motorcyclist seriously injured on A31 near Wimborne
Motorists with dashcam footage of the collision which happened on 3 April near the Canford Bottom roundabout are asked to contact Dorset Police.
A local motorcyclist in his 50s was seriously injured in a collision near the Canford Bottom roundabout on Wednesday 3 April.
Dorset Police received a report at 10.42am of the collision on the A31 involving a black Audi A6 and a Kawasaki motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Police constable Calum Maton, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “I am appealing to any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please get in touch.
“I would also like to hear from any motorists who were travelling nearby and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.
“Finally, I understand the road closure would have had an impact in the area and I would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding. This enabled us to safely deal with the incident and investigate the scene.”
