Euros to be screened at Sandfest on Sandbanks beach
Dizzee Rascal will not only be performing at Sandfest on Sunday 14 July, but he will also MC the final of the Euros.
People attending the Sandfest on Sandbanks beach on Sunday 14 July won’t have to miss the England/Spain match in the UEFA Euro final as it will be shown on three large screens on the main stage.
And to add to the excitement British rapper Dizzee Rascal will MC the match and perform for the crowds before the kick off at 8pm.
Sandfest has become a major summer attraction on the Dorset coast bringing 5,000 people together on Sandbanks blue flag beach.
Among the line-up on Sunday is Sigma, D.O.D, Kojo Funds, Charlotte Plank plus DJ Luck & MC Neat.
Dizzee Rascal, the headline act, will perform on stage earlier than billed to make way for the football final.
Sandfest is now in its seventh year, and this year looks to be a special weekend as the football takes centre stage for the Euros final as the sun goes down.
Founder, Ty Temel said: “This year we have had to make a few changes to line-up timings to make way for what we hope is one big celebration on the beach. The music will continue to be the focus but we want to ensure everyone can watch the Euros final as well. Dizzee Rascal is a big football fan and will no doubt be on the beach to support the England team. Let’s hope it’s a Sandfest to remember.”
