Dorset firm behind Shake and Stir Festival announces new role
Stir Events, organisers of Poole Goes Vintage and the Shake and Stir Festival, is now the Gold Patron for the BH Area Hospitality Association.
Stir Events CIC, the award-winning event management company who organise the Shake and Stir Vintage Festival in Southbourne and Poole Goes Vintage, has become a ‘Gold Patron’ for the BH Area Hospitality Association (BAHA).
This partnership with BAHA, which represents hotels and accommodation providers in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole, aims to enhance the hospitality and tourism experience across the county.
Stir Events CIC says the collaboration with BAHA underscores a shared commitment to excellence and innovation in hospitality and event management.
“We are incredibly proud to become a Gold Patron for BAHA,” said Mandy Polkey, managing director of Stir Events. “Our goal is to create memorable events that attract visitors and boost local tourism. By partnering with the esteemed hotels and accommodation providers represented by BAHA, we can ensure our events are well-promoted, driving more guests to experience the outstanding hospitality of the Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole areas.”
As a Gold Patron, Stir Events will work closely with BAHA members to ensure they are informed about upcoming events managed by the company. This will facilitate effective promotion, encouraging visitors attending these events to choose BAHA-associated accommodations for their stay. The aim is to enhance event attendance, boost hotel occupancy, and contribute to the local economy.
Rosie Radwell MIH, chair of BAHA, said: “We are thrilled to support Stir, a local company that brings retro and vintage events to our areas. These events bring communities together and also help bring guests to our areas that use our local hotels, and other hospitality venues in the area. Mandy and her team are award winning in their field and a pleasure to work with.”
