Top marks for Wimborne school students in GCSE exams
Queen Elizabeth’s School has congratulated pupils as so many achieved high grades in this year’s GCSE exams.
Staff at Queen Elizabeth’s School in Wimborne say they are very pleased with their students’ GCSE results this year.
The notable achievements include:

Interim headteacher, Brian Boyes, said: “I am very proud of all our students and want to say a huge well done to them all. It has been a delight to see so many happy faces in our school on Thursday.
“Our students have worked incredibly hard and fully deserve the grades they have achieved”.
QE School is part of Initio Learning Trust. CEO Liz West said: “Congratulations to everyone at Queen Elizabeth’s School for securing such great results.
“All the hard work put in by teachers and students has paid off and I hope they are proud of their achievements. We wish all the students the best as they move onto sixth form study, training or employment.”
Students across the county received their results on Thursday. Cllr Clare Sutton, Dorset Council portfolio holder for Children, Education, Skills and Early Help, said: “I’d like to congratulate all students receiving their GCSE results. You should take great pride in your achievements and hard work.”
