Golden year for Ringwood Waldorf School
Ringwood Waldorf School not only won prizes at Ringwood Carnival, it is also celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
It was a double celebration for Ringwood Waldorf School at Ringwood Carnival as the school not only won first prize and Best in Show, but it is also celebrating its 50th birthday this year.
Geli Patrick, school lead and chairman of the Senior Management Team said: “We are so excited to be celebrating the school’s 50th birthday. Taking part in the Ringwood Carnival was the next step in our 50th anniversary celebrations, which are set to last the whole year.
“Our school has literally been built from the ground up by parents and our school community over the past five decades. And we have ambitious plans for the next few years, further developing the school, with more buildings to accommodate future additional pupils.”
Established as a small cottage school at Folly Farm in 1974 with just six students, Ringwood Waldorf School has flourished into a thriving educational community with over 250 students today.
