Pamphill First School pupils had snow fun
The school remained open in last week’s snow, with the pupils having the chance to enjoy building snowmen.
It didn’t last very long, but children at Pamphill School made sure they had fun playing in the snow last week.
The pupils were met with a frosty surprise as a fresh blanket of snow covered the school grounds.
Children arrived wrapped up in hats, scarves, and gloves, and were excited to make the most of the snowy weather.
Pupils from all year groups participated in classic winter fun, from snowball throwing competitions to building snowmen, making memories that will last well beyond the season.
Sharon Staddon, executive headteacher at Pamphill First School, which is part of Initio Learning Trust, said: “The snow caught many of us by surprise but we always endeavour to remain open. It was lovely to see how excited the pupils were to play out in the snow and it was very special for them to be able to enjoy it with their school friends.”
