Came Down Golf Club has fundraised for Mosaic, a Dorset charity dedicated to supporting bereaved children and young people.
Members of Came Down Golf Club in Dorchester have raised a staggering £10,000 for Mosaic, a Dorset charity dedicated to supporting bereaved children and young people.
Outgoing captain, James Burleigh, presented the cheque to Mosaic’s Jo Revill at the club’s recent Annual General Meeting in December.
James, who has served as club captain throughout the year, expressed his gratitude to all members and visitors who contributed to the fundraising efforts. He said: “The support and enthusiasm of our members have been incredible.
“Raising £10,000 for such a worthwhile cause has been incredibly rewarding.”
Mosaic provides vital support to children and families navigating grief, offering counselling, therapeutic services, and group support across Dorset. This donation will enable the charity to continue delivering its services to those in need.
Jo from Mosaic shared her heartfelt thanks and said: “We are incredibly grateful to Came Down Golf Club for this amazing donation.
“£10,000 will make a huge difference, allowing us to continue providing crucial support to children and young people facing the loss of a loved one.”
