Man arrested following several acts of vandalism in Poole
Anyone who has CCTV footage of the area relating to 1 January is asked to contact Dorset Police as they continue their enquiries.
Two shop doors, four vehicles and a telephone box were vandalised at the junction of Darbys Lane and Wimborne Road on New Year’s Day, and police are seeking CCTV footage.
The police received a report at 2.45am that day. Following enquiries a 32-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. He has been released on police bail as further investigative work is carried out.
Detective Constable Ryan Higgins, of BCP CID, said: “We are continuing to investigate this matter and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already contacted police.
“I would also urge any businesses or residents in the vicinity who have CCTV systems to please review their footage from around the relevant time period to see if they have captured anything that might assist our enquiries.”
