‘Buddy Holly’ swaps his banjo in a bid to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Anthony Fletcher plays the iconic Rock ‘n’ Roll legend – Buddy Holly in the tribute show Buddy Holly and The Cricketers; and on 14 July, Fletcher joined other brave and barmy swimmers to complete the charitable Bournemouth Pier to Pier swim helping to raise an estimated £180,000 for the British Heart Foundation. Fletcher was accompanied by the former Big Bopper in their show, Michael Cuckson, who also completed the swim.
Fletcher has since swapped his swimming gear for his more comfortable suit and swagger and will be rocking up in Bournemouth this Saturday (27 July 2013) asBuddy Holly with his band The Cricketers at the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre.
