Visually-impaired people and fundraisers from Dorset Blind Association are taking on the challenge and participating in ‘Wiltshire Big Wheel’, a 45-mile bike ride around Wiltshire. On Sunday 6 September, the team will be putting on their helmets and cycling gear in order to raise money for blind and partially-sighted people around Dorset.
“It was well worth the wait,” said Tanya Hatcher after performing her charity wingwalk to fundraise for Autism Wessex.
Moors Valley Country Park, near Ringwood is running family-friendly events through the summer. The packed programme includes bushcraft, cycling, fishing and plenty of opportunities to get hands-on with nature. Special events include an evening visit from the Mizan Travellling Planetarium on Tuesday 25 August, a Twilight Safari 26 August and a BioBlitz on 13 August.…
