Stewarts Garden Centres has appointed Jamie Rollings, formerly with the Blue Diamond Garden Centre group for 12 years. Jamie has relocated from the Channel Islands to take the role of Outdoor Plant Buyer Manager for the long established Dorset based horticultural business. In his teenage years he studied horticulture at the Sparsholt College near Winchester, before embarking on a varied career within horticultural retailing.

Animal Defenders International have rescued 33 lions, 24 from circuses in Peru and nine from Colombia, after both countries banned the use of wild animals in circuses.
