Water, water everywhere…

Allenbourn Middle School’s grounds are next to the River Allen, which burst its banks some weeks ago and shows little sign of subsiding. Despite the playing fields having been under water since the beginning of term, PE staff at the school remain upbeat and positive. “It has been something of a challenge,” said Head of PE John Dover, “but the staff are coping magnificently and we are using the facilities within the school as much as we can.”
