Officers investigating a driving incident in East Dorset are appealing for the pedestrian, who was allegedly almost hit by a vehicle, and any witnesses to come forward – with three men being arrested and a CCTV image being released.
At around 3pm on Thursday 15 October 2015, an incident happened in the Gussage St Michael area.
It was reported that a silver Volkswagen Polo was being driven through the village when it almost hit a pedestrian and that the vehicle did not stop but headed toward the A354.
Police Sergeant Nick Lee, of East Dorset’s Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I am appealing to the pedestrian who was allegedly almost hit by the vehicle to contact me urgently so we can establish exactly what happened.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who saw the Polo, which I am releasing an image of, being driven on Thursday 15 October in Gussage St Michael and the surrounding area.”
A 23-year-old Poole man, a 25-year-old Poole man and a 22-year-old Bournemouth man have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, driving a motor vehicle dangerously and daytime trespass in pursuit of game poaching. All three men have been released on bail until the beginning of November 2015.
