Officers in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward following a robbery in the town –
with an e-fit of the offender being released.
The incident happened at about 9.30pm on Sunday 11 May as the victim was walking through King’s Park.
The victim, a 45-year-old man, was chased by two men, grabbed from behind and pulled to the floor where he was punched and kicked.
After a few minutes he was allowed to his feet and was told to hand over his belongings.
The victim handed over his phone and both suspects fled through the park.
Police Constable Phillip Riggs, of Bournemouth police, said: “This was a distressing incident for the victim. I am now able to release an e-fit of one of the offenders I am keen to identify as soon as possible.”
He is described as between 27 and 37 years old, of athletic build, about six feet three inches tall. He has short brown hair, was clean shaven and was wearing a dark coloured long sleeved top.
The second suspect was not seen by the victim.
PC Phillip Riggs continued: “I am appealing for anyone who recognises the man in the e-fit or noticed any suspicious activity near the skate park in King’s Park to contact police.”
