Wimborne Rotary Club is relaunching its successful Business Partners scheme. The club’s future plans for adding value to the scheme and its benefits to Partner members were outlined at a meeting at the Allendale Centre on 18 April, chaired by Club President Roy Salmon and John Gully the club’s new Business Partners’ officer.
Roy Salmon said, “We welcome the chance to work even more closely with local businesses, to our mutual benefit and that of the local community. As a result of this evening’s meeting, in association with our Business Partners, we will shortly be announcing our new Workplace Award scheme. This summer a 16-17 year-old youngster will be given the opportunity by our Partners of a month’s work experience with a generous bursary, covering different areas such as human resources, marketing, finance and work ethic.”
Those interested in becoming a Rotary Business Partner, or young persons who would like to be considered for the award, are invited to telephone John Gully on 01202 880864.
