Celebrity chefs sign up to support Autism Wessex Big Brekkie
Celebrity chefs Lesley Waters and Mat Follas sign up to the Autism Wessex Big Brekkie campaign sponsored by Williams Thompson Solicitors LLP, Christchurch.
Throughout April, the Autism Wessex charity is running a ‘Big Brekkie’ campaign.
The start of the the event will coincide with international World Autism Day on 2 April when autism organisations around the world will be hosting unique fundraising and awareness-raising events.
Celebrity chefs Lesley Waters and Mat Follas have already signed up to support the Autism Wessex campaign and headline sponsors, Christchurch solicitors, Williams Thompson LLP, have donated a substantial sum in support of the campaign. The company will be playing their part to help raise awareness by hosting their own Big Brekkie event too and are encouraging others to do the same.
Practice manager and partner at Williams Thompson Solicitors, Suzanne Kadziola, said, “We are delighted to be sponsoring this worthwhile campaign for the third year running. Autism Wessex is an excellent charity which does so much to help individuals and families affected by Autism. Whilst we look forward to hosting our own event, we urge others to get involved with their own fundraising breakfast.’’
Simply choose the time, date and location for your event and donate money raised from the purchase of muffins, a full English, a continental breakfast or a bacon sandwich to Autism Wessex so they can continue to provide high-quality specialist services. Every year they help people across Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and Somerset manage the effects of autism and its associated difficulties.
The two celebrity chefs will be contributing their own recipe ideas as part of the fundraising pack available to all participants. In addition, BBC MasterChef winner Mat Follas will be reducing the cost of his delicious brunch at his Bramble Cafe & Deli in Poundbury, between 1–8 April. Mat is inviting his generous customers to then donate the difference to Autism Wessex.
