Ferndown Chamber of Commerce (FCOC) held its first meeting yesterday (1 September), following its recent affiliation with Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
DCCI’s chief executive, Ian Girling, spoke to Ferndown’s executive committee about the coming together of the chambers outlining the benefits. These included joint events, training and working together on key issues. He wanted to involve FCOC with Business Pulse, a snapshot survey and said he intended to meet with FCOC on a quarterly basis. In 2016, he aims to bring all the affiliated chambers together to meet each other and exchange ideas.
