A group of volunteers and friends at Cherry Tree Nursery celebrated the charity’s 25th anniversary with a barbecue on 14 August.
John Robbins from Moose International Winton 181 presented a cheque for £1,000 to go towards the cost of replacing the nursery gate with a more secure one, following a break-in earlier this year.
The people in bright yellow T-shirts are from the Rotary Club of Westbourne who supplied, prepared and cooked the barbecue, which everyone agreed was exceptionally delicious.
The nursery has a wide selection of superb quality plants available, which look at their most colourful at this time of year.
