Cranborne Community choir consists of a group of lively people who love singing.
Led by Jeremy Avis; an inspirational teacher and performer, the choir work hard whilst having a lot of fun along the way.
In September the choir will be taking part in ‘Sing for Water’ during the Thames Water Festival in London. This is a massed choir event that raises money to support WaterAid’s life-giving water, sanitation and hygiene projects in Ghana and Malawi. Now in its 10th year, this outdoor event gathers choirs from all over the country who sing uplifting songs on the South Bank in London.
Cranborne Community Choir is currently welcoming new recruits.
There is no need to read music as all the songs are taught by ear. So, release that singer within and come along to a taster rehearsal in the Cranborne First School Hall on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm or for further information phone Jeremy Avis on 07812 136032.
