Choose the design for the Wimborne Cup
Three designs have been shortlisted for the reusable Wimborne Cup and now local people have the chance to select the winner.

Local people have until Friday 11 April to vote for their favourite design for Wimborne’s new reusable cup.
Planet Wimborne, Wimborne War on Waste, Wimborne Town Council and Wimborne BID want to thank everyone who sent in ideas for what should go on the Cup with over 50 entries having been received.
The reusable cup will be launched at this year’s Folk Festival to reduce plastic waste and litter.
Becky Dodd, of Doddy Design, said: “It was great to receive so many ideas and comments about why people love the town. I’ve drawn inspiration from these ideas to come up with three iconic designs.”
To cast your vote, go to Dodd’s website: https://doddydesign.com/thewimbornecup. Or look out for posters around the town.
Steve Cheshire from Wimborne War on Waste said: “Whatever the outcome, the environment will be the winner.”
Fiona Harwood, chairperson of Wimborne BID, said: “This is such a brilliant initiative and an important one for Wimborne, as a plastic-free town, to drive forward. It just shows the positive collaboration that is going on in the town to help make a difference to the environmental impact of large-scale events. We are delighted to be supporting the Wimborne Cup.”
