Diverse Abilities, the only charity in Dorset that supports children and adults with disabilities throughout their lifetime, is holding a festival for the people it supports and their families as part of the charity’s 60thanniversary celebrations, and is looking for bands to play at the event on a voluntary basis.
The Diverse-a-Fest is taking place on 20 June in West Moors from 12-5pm. Performance slots can between 30-60 minutes and the charity is hoping that this will be an event to remember with great company, music, food and sunshine.
Julia Forrest-Wilson, the Diverse Abilities Supported Living Manager, said: “This is a perfect way to celebrate our 60th anniversary and a great way for the people we support to relax and enjoy some great music.”
We are looking for any talent from pop to rock-n-roll, therefore if you are a band or know a band please get in touch with Julia Forrest-Wilson at Julia.wilson@diverseabilities.org.uk or call 01202 718266.
