Detectives in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a sexual assault on Kinson Common – with an e-fit of the offender being released.
The incident, in which a woman was sexually assaulted just off Poole Lane, happened at around 1am on Wednesday 10 July 2013.
The woman was not injured.
Detective Constable Steve Griffin, of Dorset Police CID, said: “Following further enquiries, I am now able to release an e-fit of the man responsible.
I am appealing for anyone who recognises this man to contact Dorset Police as soon as possible.”
The offender is described as six feet tall, aged in his fifties and of a large build. He has short hair and was wearing glasses and a black leather jacket.
DC Griffin continued: I would also urge anyone who witnessed this incident to come forward, in confidence, at the earliest opportunity.
Following the incident, patrols have been increased in the area.
