Easter Saturday at Boscombe Pier will see the largest groups of runners assembled in the history of East Cliff Rotary’s Easter Quarter Marathon.
Over 300 runners are now confirmed but there could be 400 runners on the day.
This event, now in its 18th year, is a road race under the rules of UK Athletics and is a league fixture for the Dorset League. It is also an opportunity to raise money for local and national charities.
The event caters for runners of all ages and speed – from the elite runners some of whom also compete in the London Marathon, to a 2 mile fun run that can be completed with children, pushchairs, buggies and dogs.
Runners can register on the day from 10am at the registration just to the east of Boscombe
Pier with the event starting at 11am.
