Fiona McArthur appointed Bournemouth Coastal BID operations manager
The Bournemouth Coastal Business Improvement District (BID) has appointed experienced solicitor and community volunteer Fiona McArthur to the position of operations manager.

Taking on her new role, Fiona will be overseeing operations, developing events and encouraging greater cooperation between businesses in Bournemouth’s coastal trading districts.
Fiona’s experience in the legal profession has taken her through the various trading areas of Bournemouth and Poole. With a clear passion for the communities in which she has worked and lived in, Fiona has involved herself in various regeneration projects in Boscombe, the Trading Association in Canford Cliffs and most recently serving as the chairperson of Southbourne on Sea Business Association.
In this position, Fiona has been involved in running various events around Southbourne including the popular Shake & Stir Vintage Festival and Frankenfest. Fiona was also one of the founding directors of Poole Chamber of Trade and Commerce and has also been a director and honorary solicitor of Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce.
In her new position, Fiona will be using her expertise to develop signature events and exciting projects, which support Bournemouth’s coastal villages and improve the local trading environment.

Fiona McArthur, said, “Having worked as a solicitor for some 20 years, I have decided to diversify and build on my voluntary experience in supporting Bournemouth’s coastal communities. I am now excited to be taking on additional responsibilities and developing new signature events for Coastal BID that attract visitors, increase footfall, and enhance the local trading environment.’’
