Some of the world’s leading peace envoys are set to speak at an International Summit being held in Cornwall this month.
The two-day World Peace Mission Conference takes place in Penzance on 27 and 28 February. It will welcome inspirational spiritual leaders and renowned peace ambassadors from around the world including a Kriya yoga guru from the Himalayas and a leading member of the Muslim Council of Britain and the UN Association, talking on a range of topics from inner peace to the challenges and opportunities for developing world peace. In addition to the speakers, the two-day event will also include meditation (Sunday 7am to 8am) and the screening of two films, The Road to Peace by Dr Stuparich and Aluna – A Journey to Save the World by Jean-Paul Mertinez which tells the story of the Kogi, a lost civilisation living on an isolated triangular pyramid mountain in the Sierra Nevada, Colombia. Tickets for the conference are £120 for two days, to include light lunch and refreshments.
