Staff at Sainsburys in Ferndown have continued to work with Chairman of EDDC, Cllr Steve Lugg, in supporting local homeless people.
Sue Blundell from the store has handed over a crate of assorted reading glasses, which are being passed to Help the Homeless. This follows a Christmas charity bag pack in-store and an awareness raising day outside the store on 2 April.
Steve said, “One of my key objectives has been to foster better communication links between schools, businesses, the voluntary sector and the council. This is proof of the pudding; action, not words, for our most vulnerable. People like Wendy Singh Lupton Knowelden and Kath Osborne from Help The Homeless Bournemouth have inspired me.’
