The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF), a Ferndown-based charity, was delighted to receive 72 Mickey Mouse soft toys from charity In Kind Direct, an organisation set up to re-distribute goods from companies to charities across the UK.
The donation was made possible thanks to Disney Store’s partnership with In Kind Direct for their annual Disney ‘Share the Magic’ campaign, and was part of a total of 10,000 toys distributed by In Kind Direct to hundreds of charities in the UK, bringing Christmas joy to thousands of children.
Beaucroft Foundation School in Wimborne set up a Santa’s Grotto and children from the early years and the juniors were thrilled to receive their presents from Santa, which they will open on Christmas Day.
Mickey Mouse also brought smiles to the youngest musicians at the Coda Fiddle Orchestra where the children were excited to receive their early Christmas gifts.
The JTYAF were delighted that local children could benefit from the ‘Share the Magic’ campaign and would like to thank In Kind Direct and the Disney Store for making it possible.
